Reopening California: Newsom Says, CA Businesses Will Begin To Reopen At End Of This Week

Gov. Gavin Newsom said, Parts of California’s economy, including retail businesses and hospitality businesses, may reopen slowly for limited operations by Friday, May 8, as the curve of novel coronavirus cases in California has flattened, whereas restaurants, shopping malls, and offices will remain closed.

The stage that we are now: When the state will allow some retail businesses to open on Friday, we’ll be slowly moving from Stage 1 to Stage 2 which is like Stage 1.5.
