Over 9,000 health care workers across the U.S. have been sickened by COVID-19 last week and at least 27 died, according to a new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday.
90% of the infected health care patients were not hospitalized. Around 8% to 10% who were, up to 5% were admitted to intensive care. Those 27 who died, 10 were 65 years old or older.
