Instead of scouring your junk email and loyalty program newsletters, take note of these frequent flier miles promotions to get closer to a free flight this summer.

American Airlines offers big bonuses for trans-Atlantic travel. Purchase a round-trip ticket between North America and Europe for travel between now and July 31 and rake in extra miles. Business class tickets earn 25,000 bonus miles per round trip, which is good enough to redeem for a roundtrip domestic saver award ticket. Premium economy tickets earn 15,000 bonus miles round trip, and economy class tickets earn 2,000 bonus miles roundtrip. Terms state you must register before booking. The best part is that it is also valid for travel on oneworld partners British Airways, Finnair, and Iberia. British Airways has a similar Avios offer for double points between now and July 31, but it also includes flights to Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Up to two roundtrips per traveler are eligible for these promotional miles.

Delta puts award flights on sale. For reservations made between now and June 7, SkyMiles members can receive a discount on award flights for travel between August 23 and November 16. More than 8,000 routes are available for the discount, most of which are shorter flights. For example, a one-way ticket from Atlanta to Austin might normally cost 12,500 miles at the lowest level for one-way travel, but it is being offered for 7,500 miles with this promotion. No need to register, just log into delta.com to search for flights.

United Airlines celebrates inaugural nonstop to Singapore with extra miles. United will fly nonstop between San Francisco and Singapore beginning this week. Passengers that book a ticket by June 30 and travel before the end of the year will receive 5,000 bonus miles for business class fares and 3,000 bonus miles for most economy class fares. Register online before traveling.

American Airlines bonus offer to New Zealand. To celebrate its new Boeing Dreamliner service to Auckland, American is offering bonus miles for travelers that take up to two roundtrips. Each roundtrip earns 15,000 miles in business class or 2,500 miles for certain economy class fares. Register before flying, and travel must be completed by October 31.

Alaska Airlines bonus miles for flying partners and new Japan Airlines tie up. Beginning June 29, Alaska Mileage Plan members can now earn and redeem miles for Japan Airlines flights thanks to a new codeshare agreement inked by the carriers. Plus, earn 1,000 bonus Mileage Plan miles for flying internationally on any Alaska partner airline between June 1 and September 15. Be sure to register by September 1. Alaska Airlines’ frequent flier program is becoming a popular option for travelers given that it is the only major U.S. airline loyalty program to hold out on going revenue-based. Fliers still earn valuable miles based upon distance flown.

United Global Premier Upgrades now good on ANA. United gives its 1K members global upgrade certificates that can be used on international flights booked in a certain fare bucket. Until now, they were only good for one-cabin upgrades on United, Lufthansa, and Copa flights. United is now offering the chance to use these upgrades on ANA flights thanks to a joint venture between the two airlines. To use these upgrades, call United to check availability and eligibility. Unlike Delta and American’s system-wide upgrades, United’s upgrade certificates are usually not applicable to the cheapest fares.

Air Canada Earn Your Wings promotion returns. Aeroplan members can earn miles in this year’s Earn Your Wings promotion. Bonus miles are awarded for flying Air Canada or by completing certain challenges. Also, the top 30 point earners in the Aeroplan program get to have a share of 20 million bonus points amongst each other based upon their earnings rank (top 10 or top 30). Register and book flights by June 30, and complete travel by July 31 to take advantage.

Earn 1,000 United miles for testing personal finance app. Sign up for the Prosper Daily personal finance tracking app and enter your zip code, last name, and frequent flier number. After downloading the app, the miles should post to your account within six to eight weeks. The promotion ends June 30, and while the app is designed to manage financial accounts, there is no need to divulge that private information if you choose not to.
